The Story of Stoke Film Theatre

Grace Jordan, Director of the Film Theatre, has been involved since it was founded in 1974.  Grace’s presentation is a story of passion, of community and of the belief in the power of cinema.  She will share with you the story of this remarkable organisation – from a time when the Potteries was filled with picture palaces, through to the birth of a brand new idea - and forward to the vibrant community-led cinema that exists today.  Contact c49clitheroe@gmail.com
