We decide topics together and use resources on the Internet or in books to find out about the subject we have chosen and pool our information. You are welcome to lead on a topic, but there is no pressure to do so, though some active participation is expected. We also make occasional visits to art galleries and exhibitions for private group tours and entertain guest speakers.
This group is for those wishing to improve their knowledge of art. Most of us have little knowledge of the art world, past or present, but we love visiting art galleries and exhibitions and are keen to learn more about what we are looking at, who painted, sculpted or assembled it and how it fits in with different movements in the art world.
