From time to time the u3a will organise outings to places of interest that are within easy travelling distance. Details will be circulated to all members.

We will use car share for journeys of up to about 45 minutes and coaches for longer journeys.

Recent car share trips: Hodnet gardens, Biddulph Old Hall.

Recent coach trips: Lichfield (including a tour of Erasmus Darwin's house), Shrewsbury (including a lunchtime concert), RHS Gardens at Bridgewater.

As we often have to pre-pay deposits on coach bookings and venues, we must ask members to make a firm pre-commitment to pay as soon as we have sufficient numbers to confirm the trip.

We also aim to keep members informed about local cultural events and places of interest.
